Ray's Spelling and Word Games v2.0 ©copyright Ray Le Couteur 1996-98 A great way for children to learn, practice and test weekly spellings, plus two entertaining word games to improve reading, vocabulary and logic. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Any computer running Windows 95/98. If you wish to record spellings, you will also need a microphone and soundcard. INSTALLATION Simply run the self extracting file "setup.exe" and follow on screen instructions. Note: all program files (including VB40032.dll) are installed into the program folder/directory. This avoids conflicts during uninstallation and makes installation over a network more straightforward. If you are sure that VB40032.dll is already on your system, you can safely delete it from the program folder/directory. RUNNING THE PROGRAM From the start menu, select programs and then the Ray's Spelling and Word Games folder. Then click on the 'Ray's Spelling' icon. UNINSTALL Click on the uninstall icon in the programs menu. Note that the uninstall can be password protected to prevent accidental erasure by children. The password is entered via the sound/language option menu, which will appear automatically when you first run the program. If you forget the password or want to enter a new one, you must first delete the file 'opt.dat' in the program folder/directory. NETWORK INSTALLATION Installation should be carried out by the network administrator and should be very easy, as all files are installed into the single program directory. However, security measures can prevent files being installed or the installation of icons in the programs menu.
